Furika — Privacy Policy

Furika ("the App") is a Japanese flick-input training app developed and operated by an individual developer ("we"). The App does not require an account, and we do not collect your name, email, phone number, or address.

What We Collect

The App automatically collects the following anonymous information through our analytics provider, PostHog Inc.:

• An anonymous device identifier generated by PostHog (not linked to your Apple ID or any personal account).
• Device platform (iOS / Android), app version, build channel, and language/locale.
• Anonymous usage events: onboarding progress, stage starts/completions/exits, accuracy and elapsed time, screen views, reminder prompt responses, in-app review prompts.
• A timestamp of your first app open.

We do not collect: location, contacts, photos, microphone audio, advertising identifiers (IDFA/AAID), or payment information.

Your learning progress and settings are stored locally on your device (SQLite) and never transmitted to our servers.

How We Use It

To measure usage, fix bugs, improve learning content, and decide when to show practice reminders. We do not use this data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

Retention

Analytics data is retained for up to 12 months by PostHog, then deleted or aggregated. Local data on your device persists until you uninstall the App.

Your Choices

• Uninstall the App to stop further collection.
• Disable system-level tracking in your device's OS settings.
